Doch eines Tages entdeckt Billy seine Liebe zum klassischen Tanz und gibt den Boxunterricht auf, um in die Ballettschule gehen zu k\u00f6nnen. Wie man sich denken kann, sehr zum Leidwesen seines Vaters. Der verbietet Billy n\u00e4mlich, das aus seiner Sicht unm\u00e4nnliche Tanzen fortzusetzen. Aber Billy ist nicht allein. Unterst\u00fctzung f\u00fcr seine Leidenschaft erf\u00e4hrt er von der Ballettlehrerin Georgia Wilkinson (Julie Walters) und seinem Freund Michael (Stuart Wells). So gelingt es Billy, gegen die Widerst\u00e4nde aus der Familie dem Tanzen treu zu bleiben. Als sein Vater ihn zuf\u00e4llig dabei beobachtet, wie er mit eleganten Bewegungen durch die Halle tanzt, hat der Augenblick eine magische Kraft, die ihr Verh\u00e4ltnis ver\u00e4ndern
