Pure en zuivere dans in dienst van prachtige cellomuziek. 

Het duet Garden in the Sky van choreograaf Saburo Teshigawara en Rihoko Sato is gemaakt in samenwerking met de Fins-Nederlandse cellist Jonathan Roozeman. Live op het podium, gebaseerd op solowerken van Bach, Kodaly en Cassado.  

Op de sobere cellosuites ontbreekt elke connectie met de realiteit; het duet tussen Teshigawara en Sato staat volledig in dienst van de muziek. Puur en zuiver. Saburo Teshigawara: “We dancers sometimes play purely with music. Away from the complex reality, and away from our complicated selves. Not to express, but to become music itself.”
